Our Wedding!!

I would like to send a very special thank you to everyone who participated in our wonderful wedding event. It was fantastic! As everyone always says...over waaaay too soon!

I wanted to share some of the photos which came from our photographer. We have begun the process of collecting our guests photos and will be sending out a "best of" collection soon. Also, we have a great number of honeymoon photos which will be captioned and posted as well.

10 Days and Counting!!!

Today is a very special day. Andy and I went and picked up our marriage license today. We are ready to go!

A couple of quick facts:

1. It's exactly 7 months to the day that Andy proposed to me in Las Vegas!
2. It's exactly 10 days until Andy and I become husband and wife!

Andy told me these special facts this morning driving back from the County Clerk's Office... What a guy! I'm SO lucky.

I can't wait to see everyone at our event. It looks like we will have a total of 42 guests for our wedding. We are working on last minute details every day!

Google Me!!!!

It has come to my attention recently, that if you type my name into the Google Search box, I'm listed FIRST on Google! What an honor - WOW! I guess being obsessed with my Linked-In account is paying off.

I have taken screen shots just for the record.

Perhaps its the geek in me, but that's pretty darn cool! Andy is so green with envy!! Andy tried searching for his name but after 882 entries, google gave up. :) He is going to have to go back and check for the "Floyd"... Desperate...very desperate....

Give it a go! We have several listings for the blog in Google too!

Lisa's Hair Extensions Arrive

I am so excited about my beautiful new hair!!! Take a look....

I really have to give praise and thank my stylist Cherie Gifford @ Salon Cherie. She went above and beyond for me by spending more than 7 hours and providing me even more hair than anticipated. I have to say that it was a surprisingly enjoyable time and a ton of work. I sat for over 7 hours with her working on my head - we even worked through lunch. She does an amazing job!! I would hands down recommend her work. I can't wait for everyone to see my hair the day of the wedding.

After two days of an unwashed head (which almost drove me batty), I was finally able to wash my hair today... I realized that I have never tried to style 14 inch long hair before!!! I can't believe how much hair I have!! It matches soooo well!

I have to preface that these photos look like I have fuzzy hair because I messed up the amount of styling product and over blow dried...This is a new and complex process people...

Lisa's Love of Linked - in

I have to mention to all of you out there my new fav website. In the last few weeks, I have gotten in touch with some really great people from my present and past through my Linked-in account. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Linked-in is very similar to myspace.com, but with more professional connotations.

The best part is that in the last week, I have gotten no less than four phone calls from recruiters looking to hook me up with a job. Too bad most of the recruiters are not in the Austin area! Bah!

Snow Day in Austin

Never thought it would happen here in super hot Texas, but we have been trapped in the house for the last two days due to ice and cold. It's beautiful but deadly. Andy and I tried to walk to the mailbox last night, and the streets and sidewalks were like an iceskating rink. Andy went outside today to clear off the cars, and there was no less than 1/2 an inch of ice on the cars and driveway.

Needless to say, he spent close to three hours cleaning everything off...
Take a look at the photos. It's beautiful as if everything was been dipped in ice and preserved for later... Texas, who would have thought!
